A Dreamy Pastel Christmas Table in Jasperware & Jewels
Dress up your Christmas table in Wedgwood Jasperware and vintage jewelry for a fresh take on charming classics that will add a dash of playful sparkle to your holiday celebrations!
What if your jewelry box met your dining room table this Christmas?
Could dreamy pastels and playful sparkle add new life to old things?
Could your personal style and your home style become even more coordinated?
Could you elevate your Christmas table to the entertaining hall of fame?
The answer lovelies…is indubitably YES — a Christmas table dressed up in Jasperware and vintage jewelry is pure grandmillennial magic!
These are the questions my pal Veronica from Vintage Meet Modern and I asked ourselves as we developed a friendship over our love of vintage and its memorable patina. We realized that dressing to the decor could mean more than just coordinating an outfit.
So today, we are sharing a fresh way to mix your vintage jewelry collection with your treasured china and tableware for a dreamy pastel Christmas table, featuring a one of a kind centerpiece and chic table details. We hope it inspires you to celebrate this holiday season with a fanciful tablescape full of effervescent color, treasured heirlooms, and playful sparkle.
The best part is the tableware and jewelry in this holiday tablescape will be available to shop on Instagram Thursday December 10th!
We’ve curated an incredible capsule of antique and vintage tableware, china, and jewelry full of dreamy pastels and playful sparkle that you can use to dress up your home and wardrobe this holiday season and beyond!
The vintage jewelry was carefully selected by myself and Veronica of Vintage Meet Modern for its colorful, feminine allure and vibrant sparkle. Veronica owns and runs Vintage Meet Modern- an online boutique specializing in designer and vintage jewelry and accessories. She and her team source memorable and authentic jewelry rich in fashion history and tradition perfectly suited to compliment today’s modern styles. You can shop her selection of chic vintage jewelry anytime in her online shop or follow along with her on Instagram for special sales.
Complimenting the jewels is a selection of classic tableware, featuring blue Wedgwood Jasperware, crystal, antique German porcelain, and silverplate — all selected by me with your holiday table in mind. Here at Pender & Peony, I strive to offer unique curios that you can decorate and entertain with for gracious living.
Both Veronica and I are here for you — the smart stylish woman whose closet and home reflect charming personal style and a love of vintage. Both of us take great delight in helping you find and style those one of a kind treasures. And like you, we believe in using our budgets wisely and investing in quality classics that are special yet versatile. We will be discussing our love of vintage and sharing some expert advice on collecting in a IGTV live chat on December 7th at 8PM EST. We hope you’ll join us!
The collection will go live on Pender & Peony’s Instagram feed at 8PM EST Thursday December 10th, and we are even hosting a special giveaway for a grand prize. See details at the end of this post.
Now on to more of this dreamy pastel Christmas table and how you can decorate with vintage jewelry this holiday season…
Jasperware & Jewels on a Dreamy Pastel Christmas Table
Tablescape Inspiration
Georgian style, which lauded Neo-classicism and adored bright pastels, inspired this fanciful Christmas tablescape. Taking inspiration from Autumn de Wilde’s film version of Emma released earlier this year, I created a celebratory table setting full of whimsical details, happy colors, and timeless style. I wanted it to feel like you are walking in to the Sugar Plum Fairy’s magical realm if she lived in Regency England.
A mint green jacquard tablecloth lays the foundation for this explosion of color. Classic blue Wedgwood Jasperware fills the center of the table, hosting flowers, candles, and the whimsical jeweled paper tree. Greek key and floral garland motifs on the German china enhance the Georgian feel, while colorful glassware in pink and green adds to the gaiety.
Vintage Jewelry Meet Table
The vintage jewels are like sugared confections glittering and captivating the eye! They decorate the place settings as unique napkin rings.
This is a delightful idea to repurpose vintage brooches and customize each guest’s place setting. All you need is some pretty ribbon. Tie it around the napkin in a bow, and then pin the brooch through the bow knot. Guests can slide the whole thing right off when they are ready to dine. For a generous and chic party favor, you could send each brooch home with its diner.
Elsewhere the vintage jewelry makes beautiful one of a kind ornaments hung on a white paper tree for a whimsical centerpiece.
Nestled in a Wedgwood Jasperware compote, these white branches made from wire and paper are twisted together to create a winter tree bedecked with vintage jewelry as ornaments. Again with just a little satin ribbon and some simple bows, you can create sparkling ornaments.
Brooches and clip on earrings work the best, and after tying the bow, all you need to do is clip the earring or pin the brooch to the ribbon. Because the wire branches were so thin I clipped the jewelry and ribbon directly on to the branches, but you could add a ribbon tie or ornament hook to hang vintage jewelry on your Christmas tree.
Isn’t this just the most charming little ornament? What a fabulous way to get pearls on your tree, and then simply unclip the brooch to wear it with your favorite coat or sweater!

The selection of jewelry Veronica pulled together is truly incredible, including this floral Limoges brooch! All of it is just delightful as table adornment but will look equally amazing adorning your person!
Getting creative with the vintage jewelry, inspired me to add some sparkle to my stockings hung on the mantel. Check them out here!
