An autumn cheese board with mascarpone, figs, apples, rustic bread, blue cheese, and nuts + a round up of other themed boards to try this fall season!
Charcuterie — because a generation raised on Lunchables is trying to be cool. ~ In the Curious Kitchen
Hahahaha….I really couldn’t agree with In the Curious Kitchen more! My love of cheese, charcuterie, and grazing boards undoubtably comes from eating Lunchables as a kid.
My selections are a lot more sophisticated these days!
For instance, this latest autumn cheese board I put together includes succulent figs (both fresh and preserves), crispy apples, sweet grapes, rustic brown bread, walnuts, pistachios, and for cheeses: mascarpone and blue cheese. It was a big hit at the fall dinner party I hosted for my parents the other weekend. You can check out the full menu here.
If you re-create my board, be sure to pair the mascarpone with the fig preserves on a whole wheat bread slice and add a walnut topper. It was delicious!

Don’t forget to style your board pretty and include little knives and spoons! Here’s some accessories to help you:
