Winter Neutrals + A Classic Camel Coat

Soft white + gray + camel + leopard print = my favorite winter neutrals!

Soft white + gray + camel + leopard print = my favorite winter neutrals!

Lately, I have been reaching for neutrals more and more. Winter neutrals are so easy to pull off, and you can mix in playful patterns or bright metallics for added interest. I am loving dove gray and winter white. I have always been a huge fan of camel because it simply goes with everything, but since the fall I’m mixing these colors together for a look that is all winter neutrals.

This cashmere gray sweater is a new favorite. I love pairing it with these straight leg corduroys from Lands’ End, which are a main stay. I love that the color is called parchment – not off-white or cream – but parchment. Isn’t that just charming? They have just the tiniest bit of stretch to them, so they are very comfortable, and they hit me just right below the ankle, so perfect for showing off fun shoes.

Speaking of shoes…these leopard loafers are fantastic! Yes, leopard is a neutral! Don’t let anyone tell you any different!

I finished off this look with a classic camel coat from Talbots. It has absolutely timeless lines with beautiful seaming that gives the coat lady-like structure and comfort. This cooler color of camel is flattering. But honestly, it is the little ruffle at the chest that made me fall in love with this camel coat. The ruffle makes it flirty and modern.

My handbag is a Bosom Buddy Bag from their fall theme line. I picked it up when my mom and I went to Blowing Rock for a girls weekend. It is perfect for daytime because you can wear it as a crossbody, and it is small enough for evening looks! I love the acorn motif!!!

To be honest I have a few bags that would go perfectly with this outfit. A friend of mine recently bought herself a fake Gucci purse in a gorgeous fawn color and it would look amazing when styled with a coat like this one. I must remember to ask her where she got it from as it is a really convincing replica!

Nothing beats shades of tan, camel and cream for the cold months and I love them around the Holidays. This is the most chic monochromatic neutrals outfit I have seen. I love the classic coat and fun, modern crossbody bag!

Welcome by Thursdays to link your fabulous style with me. I also think you’d like my last two style posts. Happy Hump Day!!
