Jolly Blossoms Christmas Mantel
A pink and red floral Christmas garland for the mantel with magnolia, cedar, red berries, gold holly, ranunculus, and velvet and gingham ribbons.

Whatever your taste may be, one thing is certain:
Christmas is the time, in the matter of decoration, to let the fancy roam,
to be inventive, creative, gay, light-hearted and unafraid.
~House Beautiful 1962

I took this assignment to heart! I let my fancy roam. I was inventive and creative...gay and light-hearted...totally unafraid!
This year my fancy led me to the Jolly Blossoms Christmas look. It is a brightly colored mix of pink, red, and green with a merry mingle of magnolia, gold holly, flowers, gingham, velvet, and Rose Medallion. I think if a winter botanical garden met OG Kate Spade this would be the result. Do you see it?

A Jolly Blossoms Christmas Garland
This Christmas mantel started with my love for pink and red Christmas decor and a Jolly Blossoms garland kit (available to custom order). The base garland mixes pine, cedar, and juniper with red berries and eucalyptus. To the garland I added blooms of ranunculus and magnolia. Festive ribbons in fuchsia pink velvet and a gingham in red, white, and pink bring in the color. Gold holly stems and a floral sequin ribbon add the shine.
The effect is very merry and bright! Wouldn't you agree?
It is definitely a playful Christmas look for those who love gardening and romantic florals even at Christmas.
There are two garland kit styles this year, and each one includes:
- Mixed pine 6' or 9' garland base
- Designer ribbon: cut for streamers and/or tied for bows
- Customized accent florals
- Step by step instructions
- Video tutorials
- Floral wire

On Top of The Christmas Mantel
My fancy for the top of the mantel said, "Bring the drama!" So I did! LOL...
I created winter floral arrangements in my Rose Medallion temple jars with magnolia, cedar, eucalyptus, and gold holly all tied up with a dramatic gingham bow. This gingham in red, pink, and white is just so festive and jolly. The ribbon is thin so it poufs beautifully and is great for adding volume.
In the center sits Jane my Staffordshire spaniel surrounded by these darling green and white toile ceramic Christmas trees. The toile scenes show winter activities, snowmen, ice skating, etc. and are just such a festive touch. Hanging on the mirror is a beautiful frosted cedar wreath with red berries. I added the pink velvet bow to tie in with the garland.
