Description

Legend has it that this historic pattern was created for George William Coventry, the 5th Earl of Coventry who suffered blindness (either from a hunting accident or a hereditary condition), and commissioned Worcester Porcelains to create fine china with a raised, tactile design so he could feel and enjoy the designs even without sight. The pattern features raised, textured floral and foliate motifs. 20th century.
