Description
This fabulous jar shows the significant culture exchange that occurred between China and the Islamic world. The lappet design with lobbed panels around the body of the jar shows a design amalgamation of the Persians, Mongols, and Chinese. Contemporary Chinese reproduction with Guangxu Apocryphal Mark.
Size: 7.5″D x 10″H.
*Please note this piece is hand made in Jingdezhen using centuries old ceramics techniques. Each piece is unique with slight variations in color and dimension. Small spots, pocks, and glaze imperfections are part of the beauty of handmade.
