Description

Pink and copper lustreware was popular in England in the mid-19th century, and is made by applying a gold solution with metal salts over an white pearlware/earthenware body. It was popular among the middle class as an alternative to copper or silver tableware. Footed open salt with splashed lustre decoration. British/English.
