Victorian salt glazed dispenser molded in the form of barrel with straps having a bung hole to top and a spigot above base. Stamped on side a”MURRAY & CO. / 4 / GLASGOW”. Murray & Co. was also known as the Caledonian Pottery and in operation from 1800-1897. 1 gallon capacity mark. Front features relief Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom above spigot. Second half of 19th century. Size: 8.5”H
