Description
I’m so excited to bring this gorgeous Rose Medallion charger to my fellow collectors. It is big, it is beautifully painted, and it has stunning color. Note the carefully rendered birds and butterflies, the gilt detailing to the figures costumes, and the tightly packed spaces between the reserves.
At 16” this piece commands a space and deserves a prominent place on a mantel or sideboard or as the centerpiece for a plate wall. Excellent condition. Circa 1840-1860.
