This Staffordshire spill vase features a handsome shepherd in cobalt blue coat against a tree trunk with sheep laying down and a goat on the top left. Shepherds were a common rural occupation portrayed in Staffordshire figures. Circa 1840-1865.
Size: 8.5”H x 5”W.
Condition note: hairlines and crazing to base.
