Description
This is a beautiful antique Rose Medallion bowl in an oval shape, which is hard to find. Originally intended as vegetable bowl, but it will look lovely styled on a coffee table or bookcase. The floral inside and scalloped rim gives it that extra something special. Mid to late 19th C. No mark.
Size: 8.75”L x 5.75”W x 3”H.
Rose Medallion is a Chinese export porcelain that originated about 1820. It was very popular in the United States and Europe with large dinner services frequently ordered. This pattern is part of the Famille Rose style.
