This painting from Asheville, N.C. based artist Nancy Thompson Mills (1945-2020) is simply lovely. The work features vivid red geraniums and other florals on a table. The colors are to die for in this one y’all!
Mills was an artist and Episcopalian minister originally from P.A. She studied at Moore College of Art and Design and attended Sewanee School of Theology. You can see influences from Matisse and O’Keefe in her works. Mills’ work is represented in the Morris Museum of Art, G.A.
