Talk about a statement piece for your Rose Medallion collection! This is it! These large meat platters with the “well and tree” design are very scarce. You can display it on your sideboard or mantel for that wow factor. This one has the prettiest enamel colors with vibrant blues and pinks, and just look at that gilt detailing on the figures! Circa 1820 – 1860. No mark.

Very good condition with some wear to gilt and enamel in center.

Rose Medallion is a Chinese export porcelain that originated about 1820. It was very popular in the United States and Europe with large dinner services frequently ordered. This pattern is part of the Famille Rose style.
