A fine antique collection of Famille Rose porcelains, including gorgeous Rose Medallion and Rose Canton patterns. These Chinese porcelains are mostly from 1820 - 1920 and feature some unique forms like a well and tree platter, a stately candlestick, a shrimp plate, and a footed platter.

Rose Medallion & Canton are part of the Famille Rose style of porcelain decoration that emerged in the 1820s for the export market. Designs feature colorful enamels in pink, blue, green, and yellow, depicting Chinese people, birds, bats, butterflies, dragons, and an array of florals -- most prominently the peony.
