Come on in friends!
I’m excited to share my colorful Christmas home tour with you all today as part of the Very Merry Holiday Home Blog Hop. I’ve joined together with some awesome ladies to open up our homes and share how we deck the halls all festive and bright for the Christmas season.
If you are coming over from Sabrina’s blog LouLouSucre I know you enjoyed her traditional holiday home or from Hoskins in the Flat’s charming study, welcome!
I felt inspired to decorate in bright pastels this season with oodles of pink. I introduced pink in a small dose at the front door with pretty bows and then amped up the pops of color in our entryway before a total explosion of bright happy hues in our living room. The entryway features Chinoiserie accents with the blue and white ceramics and pretty faux greenery for that seasonal touch.
Christmas Touches in the Entry:
Faux white poinsettia, flocked pine branches, golden eucalyptus, and ribbon streamers make for a merry arrangement in my favorite ginger jar.

On to The Living Room:
See – total explosion of color! 😂
Colorful Christmas decor just makes my heart sing and feels so merry and bright! Don’t get me wrong. I love traditional Christmas colors and decor, but this year I found inspiration in a print by William Morris – blue pomegranate from 1866. I pulled colors and motifs from the print to use in my colorful Christmas home.
I went with an all white Christmas tree that I’ve nicknamed my chic and pink tree. It features paper snowflakes, ribbon tufts, vintage ornaments, and lots of sparkly elements. To learn more about how I decorated it and some of the DIY tricks I used head on over to the full post all about the tree.
On the Mantel – My Colorful Christmas Village:
I continued the color party on the mantel in my living room with a Christmas village and mix of winter floral arrangements in milk glass. The white houses and vases provide a respite from the bright florals and ribbon garland. Across the top of my mirror I strung paper stars and glittered snowflakes for a wintery feel.
I’ll be sharing all the details and lots more photos of this pretty mantel in the coming days, so stop back by!

A Bold Christmas Tablescape in the Dining Room:
The last stop on my colorful Christmas home tour is this festive and bold tablescape.
I used the Morris pattern here too, running it down my dining room table instead of a cloth. Then I set the table with pink and green tableware and a fun mix of china. I’m sharing 5 tips to set a bold Christmas table here plus all the source details.
