While my mother and I were in Blowing Rock, we went on a little shopping excursion to the Tanner Doncaster Outlet. If you are not familiar with Doncaster, you should check their brand out immediately! Doncaster is a direct sales women’s clothing company that started over 80 years ago. Their clothing is elegant, classic and oh so chic!
I found this gorgeous merino wool poncho and floral blouse at the outlet and couldn’t wait to wear them, so I paired these pieces with my suede leggings and some heels for dinner that night at Chetola Lodge. This poncho is such a beautiful color combo with the camel and bold orange, and it is the softest, warmest wrap ever.
Orange is such a tricky color. It is almost always intense, and sometimes this color can lean towards garish. But I do love it for fall!

Ponchos and wraps are great for fall weather when you want to feel warm and cozy, but you don’t really need to bundle up. They are easy to toss on over just about anything from leggings and boots to cocktail dresses. The drape and fringe add to their chic appeal!
This camel orange wool poncho is only $60 right now, which is truly an unbeatable price for 100% wool. For those of you who want a less bold color combo check out my picks for ponchos under $100 at the end of the post.
