Incorporate these spring fashion trends on your next vacay!
I love spring fashion! The pretty, fresh florals and pastel palettes – they just speak to me! This season there are several elegant and some slightly quirky spring trends I am excited to style especially for our trip to Maui. I’ve been shopping and coordinating outfits for days now, and I’m just itching to wear these warm weather styles as it is still cold here in East TN.
Do me a favor: cross your fingers and say a little prayer that I can fit it all in my suitcase and not be overweight!

Spring Fashion Trends for a Tropical Vacay:
Pastels with Punch – I love soft pastels that aren’t washed out, and spring fashion this year is full of pretty pinks like this dress from Crown & Ivy at Belk and french blues like this LRL bucket handbag. I plan on wearing pastel palettes during the day while we are out exploring the island.
Nude Sunnies – Nude, white, and blush sunglasses are on point this season, and I love the vintage feel of these cat eye sunglasses from Tory Burch!
Eyelet – For me eyelet is always a classic choice for spring and summer! I can’t wait to style a striped top with these eyelet shorts, and I think this beautiful one shoulder top available at Tuckernuck will go perfectly with some fun palazzo pants.
White Kicks – White sneakers are a classic fashion staple that should never go out of style, but they do seem to be enjoying a special popularity right now. And what’s not to love? They go with everything! Keds are my go to for stylish, comfy white kicks!
Tassels and Pompoms – Y’all know I love a touch of whimsy and quirky details, so I am loving the tassel and pompom embellishments that we are seeing everywhere. These earrings from ShopBop are great as are these from JCrew, and this pompom bracelet is so cute. Stay tuned because I’m sharing a pompom DIY for your handbag in a few days.
Off the Shoulder -As you can see from the collages, I plan on rocking this style a lot while on vacay. Off the shoulder is such an elegant look for blouses and dresses, but as I was shopping for these pieces, I realized just how hard it is to find the right fit in this style. The tops were either too tight across my shoulders or constantly riding up. This dress from Tobi is amazing because the neckline stays in place!
